Bridge Onward Strategic Consulting Inc was established to leverage lived experiences to support the strong development of communities.
We build on decades of proven grassroots community work, law enforcement, and national security experience. The knowledge and experience gained over the years by our founder/CEO have fuelled in him a desire to support communities by empowering them in addressing the everyday challenges they face. True to our name, we develop links between individuals, communities, and organizations to enhance unity, strength, and respect.
We support our clients by providing strategic advice and tailored training to bring creative solutions to complex matters. We create change that matters most to communities to create positive social impact.

ABDUL ABDI
Abdulkadir (Abdul) Abdi has been a Police Constable with the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) for 17 years. In addition to his time as a Patrol Officer, he has served as a Coordinator of a Community Police Centre, an Assistant Coordinator with the RCMP National Security Community Outreach Program, and a member of the specialized Outreach Liaison Team. Cst. Abdi has additionally served as a Coach Officer, offering training, guidance, and mentorship to new Officers with the OPS. His extensive background in grassroots work and public relations, and history of building bridges between individuals and groups in diverse communities, is truly what makes him unique.
Before joining the police service, Abdul spent over eight years coordinating Youth Leadership and Recreation programs with the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa (NGO), where he mentored youth and encouraged positive social development within communities. Fluent in English, Somali, and Swahili, Abdul has participated in many speaking engagements, conferences, and professional development programs as an authority on community, police, and youth relations.
